Frank Cardoza Las Vegas Hustlers
For the second consecutive season, SIMBL GMs have voted two league participants as co-SIMBL GMs Of The Year for the recently concluded 2057 season.
Congratulations to Las Vegas GM Frank Cardoza on being voted by his peers for his first SIMBL GM Of The Year Award.
Frank wins the award in just his second season and first full season in the SIMBL. The 46 year-old Washington state native joined the league on the May 22, 2056 league date and went 54-64 in his first season learning the file and his team. He continued that with an impressive 96-67 record in his first full season as a SIMBL GM during the 2057 season and improved the Hustlers a blistering 23.5 games from last season and clinched the Hustlers their first postseason berth in four seasons and only their second in the past 13 seasons. As of the start of the upcoming 2058 season, Frank stands with a 151-130 (.534) all-time record in just under his first two seasons in the league.
Eric Hayman Chicago Hitmen
Congratulations to Chicago GM Eric Hayman on being voted by his peers for his first SIMBL GM Of The Year Award.
Eric wins the award also just in his second season and first full season as a SIMBL GM. The 41 year-old Toronto, Canada native joined the league also on the May 22, 2056 league date and went 73-45 on a team that OOTP predicted would lose 120 games in the preseason. Eric continued his success into the recently concluded 2056 season in his first full season as a SIMBL GM and led his Hitmen to a SIMBL-best 102-60 record that was the top seed in the SL and the entire SIMBL last season. He improved 15 games from last season and led the charter SIMBL franchise to only their second postseason berth in the past 14 seasons. In his two seasons thus far as a SIMBL GM, Eric has an impressive 175-105 (.625) career record going into the upcoming 2058 season.
