 | Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, August 7th, 2023: There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Sabres Ballpark between the Giants and Cubs that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Chris Sullivan of San Jose and Jorge Córdova of Daytona were issued 8-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. This season Sullivan is hitting .272 with 114 hits, 6 home runs, 46 RBIs, scored 45 runs and played in 108 games. For the season Córdova has logged 9 wins and 8 losses and struck out 103 batters in 122 innings while compiling a 5.02 ERA. |   |
