 | League Suspends Chambers and Rudolph for Fisticuffs Saturday, August 5th, 2023: Batavia's Mark Chambers and Spokane's James Rudolph have been handed 7-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Rhinos Stadium. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Chambers and Rudolph provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. For the season, Chambers is hitting at a .285 clip with 24 home runs, 86 RBIs and has scored 73 runs. He has 111 hits, 39 walks and a .382 on-base percentage. In 8 starts this season Rudolph has notched a 2-1 record and a 3.66 ERA. |   |
