Large Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, April 15th, 2053 Derek Large of the Hawaii Pineapples has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 3 hits in today's 9-2 triumph over St. Petersburg at E Komo Mai Field. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Large said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Derek Large hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season Large has 6 home runs and a .459 batting average. |
