Escobar Wins Union League Pitching Crown Tuesday, November 4th , 2064 The 2064 Bobby Grimes Hurler Of The Year Award in the Union League has been given to Julian Escobar of the Texas Roadrunners. The Roadrunners ace worked 260 innings this season, crafting a 24-6 record and a 2.28 ERA in 35 starts. Escobar collected 262 strikeouts while walking 56 and limiting opponents to a .215 batting average. Manuel Morin of the New York Enforcers finished second in voting, while Mario Rojas of the Texas Roadrunners finished third. |
