Maxwell Torches Rush for 5 Hits Monday, April 12th, 2049 The Patriots whipped the Rush 9-2 at Toronto Ballpark Center and Cade Maxwell had a big hand in the win. The Patriots first baseman came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Maxwell and a tough day for Toronto. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Maxwell delivered today -- 5-for-5 is outstanding in any league. Cade Maxwell hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Ron Terry in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
