Bend Defeats St. Petersburg Sunday, November 2nd , 2064 The Bend Bandits were good enough to get past the St. Petersburg Admirals at Deschutes Field today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history. "When you wear Bandits on your shirt, you're good at something," Bend skipper Ted Williams told the press. Bandits left fielder Keitaro Sakai was named MVP of the series after he went .333 with 2 home runs and 3 runs batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Sakai said.
