Clippers John Coburn Chalks Up 500th Save Friday, April 13th, 2040 One of the most important elements of a baseball team is its relief specialist -- the guy who comes in late in the game in crucial situations to stop rallies, and perhaps most of all, to close out the win. That's exactly what John Coburn does, and does very well. The Calgary bullpen ace copped his 500th career save today at Dawg Pound Park.
