Year Over for Pioneers DeLeon Saturday, July 12th, 2042 When Jose DeLeon was hurt against the Montreal Mavericks, the Oregon Pioneers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 27-year-old starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that DeLeon would miss 4 months of the season. On his stats sheet for the year DeLeon shows a 6-5 record, 18 starts, 119 innings, 109 strikeouts and a 3.48 ERA. |
