Hicks Fires Shutout in Roosters Victory Saturday, July 20th , 2058 Corey Hicks kept the Smokies from doing any damage to the Roosters today at Mel Blanc Memorial Stadium. Asheville's 6 hits and no walks came to naught as Rochester took the contest 3-0. Hicks added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. On the season Hicks has compiled a 11-6 mark with a 3.16 ERA in 20 starts. In pitching 148.1 innings he has 104 strikeouts and 27 walks while limiting the opposition to a .234 batting average.
