 | Hester 5-for-5 Against Sacramento Sunday, September 3rd, 2045 San Diego Warewolves right fielder Eric Hester had a day to remember at Great American Ballpark today, ripping apart the Sacramento Giants and sparking the Warewolves to a 4-2 victory. Hester wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Hester told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Eric Hester singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
