Week's #1 Player Honored by SL Monday, July 15th , 2058 Jimmy Braun of the Hawaii Pineapples might have lost a step over the years, but the 35-year-old second baseman can still get it done. He beat out several other worthy Syndicate League hitters over this past week to claim the Player of the Week Award. Braun posted a .615 batting average with 1 home run and 5 RBIs last week while scoring 7 runs. For the week he was 8 for 13. Braun is batting .292 this season in 90 games with 25 home runs, 67 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 336 at-bats. |
