Pineapples, Clippers Trade Players Monday, July 19th , 2060 The Hawaii Pineapples have finalized a deal with the Calgary Clippers for the services of 33-year old CF Roberto Ortiz, 26-year old 2B Bobby Riley, 23-year old minor league LF Christopher Edwards, and a 1st round draft pick. In exchange, the Clippers will receive 32-year old CF Carson Reese. So far this year in 87 games Reese is hitting .270 with 20 home runs, 56 RBIs and 44 runs scored. To date, Ortiz has collected 83 hits for a .257 average. He has posted 10 home runs, scored 61 runs and driven in 33 runs. |
