SL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, October 1st, 2053 Ray Hoffman's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young River City first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .292 with 10 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. Hoffman also scored 19 times and drove in 27 runs. For the season, Hoffman is hitting at a .260 clip with 16 home runs, 65 RBIs and has scored 52 runs. He has 113 hits, 43 walks and a .337 on-base percentage. |
