5 Hits for Enforcers Swanson
Friday, April 10th , 2065
It was a good day at Enforcers Field. The New York Enforcers whipped the Bend Bandits 10-4 and second baseman Clayton Swanson showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate.
"Some days, lady luck is on your side," Swanson told BNN reporters after the game.
Enforcers manager Chris Gattuso told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 30-year-old "focused and patient."
"It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. Clayton hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."
Clayton Swanson hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
