Gingrich Picked April's Best Newcomer Monday, May 1st , 2062 Youngster Ricky Gingrich emerged as the latest Union League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Boston deserved the honor, batting .378 with 3 home runs and 14 runs batted in. Is the month of April a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Gingrich enjoy the limelight. |
