Union League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 9th, 2049 At the age of 26, Pablo Pacheco might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Boston left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .565 batting average. For his efforts Pacheco collected the Union League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Pacheco is hitting .356 with 17 home runs and 61 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .432 clip and scored 89 runs. |
