UL Names Wolverines Ayala Winner Monday, June 19th, 2051 Manuel Ayala is respected by most Ann Arbor Wolverines fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Union League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .462 average (12-for-26) with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Ayala is currently hitting at a .298 pace with 21 home runs and 55 RBIs. |
