It's Clippers vs. Cannons, Bucs vs. Giants In 2041 SIMBL LCS Saturday, October 12th, 2041 IT'S CLIPPERS VS. CANNONS, BUCS VS. GIANTS IN 2041 SIMBL LCS Sacramento Giants teammates storm the field to celebrate advancing to their first trip to the SLCS since the 2028 season. The Giants surprisingly took out the Boston Revolution in five games in the 2041 ULDS and face Norfolk in an attempt to advance to their first SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series since the 2026 season, a duration of 15 seasons. 2041 SIMBL LCS: CALGARY VS. GM Christian DeMarco's Calgary Clippers avenged being knocked out in the first round by New York GM Chris Gattuso's two-time defending UL champion Enforcers the past two seasons by defeating them in their ULDS series in an exciting Game Seven series in which the Clips came back from a late 2-0 deficit in Game 7 to advance to their first ULCS since the 2032 season when they also won their last SIMBL title. GM Bill Atteberry's Amazin' Cannons continue to fluster SIMBL pundits, including Atteberry himself, who expected them to be a last-place team in a rebuild year. As he has all season, the Cannons utilize a four-man bullpen with only two primary middle relievers in Junior Becerra and Eduardo Duran. The wildcard Cannons advance to their first ULCS since their SIMBL championship season of 2035 by upsetting the UL #1 seed Oregon Pioneers of GM Jamey Carter in six games. It's the second season in a row that Oregon was the top seed and upset in the playoffs. GM Jason Gregory's Sacramento Giants surprisingly took out GM Anthony Keence's Boston Revolution in five games in the shortest 2041 LDS series. The Giants advance to their first SLCS since the 2028 season when they lost to Asheville after beating the Smokies in the SLCS two seasons earlier. GM Brandon Popper's Norfolk Buccaneers upset the top-seeded Las Vegas Hustlers of GM Carl Hannah in seven games to advance to their second consecutive SLCS losing to last season's SIMBL champion Asheville Smokies in seven games last season. It's two-time defending UL Central champion Calgary vs. UL wildcard Westbury in the 2041 ULCS while SL wildcard Norfolk meets SL West champion Sacramento in the 2041 SLCS. 2041 SIMBL LCS Games 1-3 will be held Saturday December 29, 2017 with a 4:00 PM EDT export deadline or upon all four exports received. The polls will be also opened and announced shortly for the mandatory 2041 SIMBL GM Awards. |
