No Late-Season Magic Coming: Tampa Bay Out of Playoffs Monday, September 30th, 2041 At times during the season, it seemed like the Tampa Bay Silverbacks might put together a promising campaign, but it was not to be. Today, the Tampa Bay Silverbacks are left waiting for next year after being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Tampa Bay last appeared in the postseason in 2039. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Silverbacks have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
