Rush Thompson Tames Cleveland Wednesday, September 22nd, 2055 Toronto Rush hurler Paul Thompson logged a 7-hit, complete game shutout over the Brownies, stopping them 1-0 at Toronto Ballpark Center today. "I felt great out there," Thompson said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 7 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk in the performance. To this point in the season Thompson has 12 wins and 11 losses and a 3.73 ERA.
