Lumberkings Cory Hamilton to Miss Year
Saturday, August 24th, 2041
Doctors in Knoxville said Cory Hamilton might not play anymore this year. The Lumberkings reliever suffered shoulder inflammation during a game against the Hawaii Pineapples and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Season-to-date, Hamilton has rung up no saves in 23 relief appearances. He has 66 strikeouts and 32 walks in 51.1 innings while registering a 1.75 ERA and a 2-0 won-lost record.
