Season Possibly Over for Deryk Ryles Wednesday, August 21st, 2041 The season is finished for Deryk Ryles of the Montreal Mavericks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mavericks third baseman suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases in a recent game against the Bend Bandits. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. This year Ryles has hit at a .262 pace and produced 71 RBIs, 22 home runs and scored 64 runs. |
