Patriots Flame Out Against Ruiz, Roosters Saturday, June 6th , 2065 The Rochester Roosters shut out the Boston Patriots 12-0 today behind the strong pitching of Augusto Ruiz. Ruiz surrendered only 6 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 3. Following the last out, Ruiz appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Boston manager JD Schloss, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Ruiz's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Patriots skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Roosters press conference, Ruiz confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Ruiz said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Rochester manager Matt LaDuke added.
