Salas Chosen #1 Player Monday, May 11th , 2065 23-year-old Ruben Salas sent shock waves through SIM Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Syndicate League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Salas made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .423 average, 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the AC Kansas City left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Salas certainly made his mark last week. For the season Salas has produced 37 hits in 121 at-bats for a .306 average with 4 home runs and gotten on base at a .359 clip. |
