Harrington Twirls 2-0 Shutout for Bandits Thursday, April 26th , 2063 The Oregon Pioneers had no answer today for Bend Bandits pitcher Patrick Harrington. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 2-0. Oregon managed only 8 hits off Harrington, who had 7 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Harrington got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Bandits fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible."
