Toronto rode a decent outing from starter Artie Jenkins to victory over the Calgary Clippers. The final score was 4-3. Connor McPharland earned his 14th save in 16 chances. Toronto is now 36-45, Calgary 52-31.

The Rush got a lift from first baseman Eric Davis, who in the bottom of the eighth stroked a 1-0 fastball into left-center for a run-scoring single. It was his 34th hit of the season and put the Rush ahead, 4-3.

"Artie is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Toronto manager Eric Savard.
