Brownies Stumble, Lose to Enforcers
The New York Enforcers topped the Cleveland Brownies, 8-1, in Union League action at Enforcers Field. The standout performance belonged to New York pitcher and New York, native Desi Owen. Owen, now 5-5, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing 1 run. The win for the Enforcers raised their record to 40-38.
