Enforcers Come Up Short at Miami, 3-2
|
Revolution Field was the site of a tense game between the New York Enforcers and Miami Sharks.
In a low-scoring clash between Miami and New York, pitcher Bruno Hahn was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 win. In 8 innings, Hahn surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs.
Emelio Renteria broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Sharks in front, 3-2. For the game, Renteria drove in one run.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said New York manager Chris Gattuso, "let me know."
