Rams Upend Giants, 5-2

Indianapolis and Sacramento duked it out and the Rams came out victorious.
The Indianapolis Rams defeated the Sacramento Giants, 5-2, in Syndicate League action at Hooters Ballpark Of Sacramento. Indianapolis pitcher David Serrano had a standout performance. Serrano went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 7-5. Earning his 5th save of the year was Francisco Esquivel.
Indianapolis used the clutch hitting of Roberto Marcano to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Rams the lead, 3-0. For the game, Marcano had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Indianapolis manager Bryan Gryka.
This win makes it 5 in a row for Indianapolis.
