Weeks Handcuffs Rams, Admirals Seize 3-1 Advantage in LCS
The St. Petersburg Admirals moved to within one game of the SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series today, downing the visiting Indianapolis Rams at Skull Rock Stadium by a score of 4-1. Admirals left-hander Pat Weeks had a strong outing in which he threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win gives the Admirals a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

In the bottom of the fifth, St. Petersburg designated hitter Pepi Manuel had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and one out, Manuel stroked a run-scoring double to right. It made the score 2-1, St. Petersburg. For the game, he went 1-3 with a double.

"Every team in baseball loses," Rams manager Bryan Gryka said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, October 21st , 2064.
