Bend Advances to SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series
Fans at Victors Field saw the League Championship Series come to a close today, as the Bend Bandits defeated the Calgary Clippers by a score of 7-0, and advanced to the SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series.

Bend won the series 4-2 and will now continue their march toward the SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series.

"It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said third baseman Luke McAlister, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far."

The Bend Bandits don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the St. Petersburg Admirals - Indianapolis Rams series. St. Petersburg leads the series 3 games to 2. The SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
