Bend Advances to League Championship Series
The Bend Bandits bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series championship.

Bend downed the Miami Sharks 6-5 tonight at Revolution Field, to take the League Divisional Series 4-2.

"It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Pete Farmer, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the SIM Baseball League."

For the series, Farmer had 9 hits for .391, with a .464 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Bend Bandits don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Texas Roadrunners - Calgary Clippers series. Calgary leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the League Divisional Series finishes.
