Ann Arbor Takes 2-1 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
A clutch 9th inning gave the Ann Arbor Wolverines a walk-off win over the Texas Roadrunners and a 2-1 lead in the League Divisional Series at Michigan Stadium today. Young first baseman Juan Jose Miranda, 23, earned accolades after he went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

Jason Russell clinched the win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth. In the game, the Ann Arbor shortstop was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Russell said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
