Morin Crafts 6-0 Shutout
The Hawaii Pineapples were almost helpless today in their 6-0 loss to the New York Enforcers and hurler Manuel Morin. Morin kept the Pineapples confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Morin," Hawaii manager David MacKenzie said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 34-year-old right-hander had 4 walks and 5 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Morin said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."

This season-to-date, Morin has fashioned a 8-5 mark and 3.32 ERA in 108.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .272 against him and he has logged 79 strikeouts.
