Dennis, Owls Notch Nifty 3-1 Win Over Chicago
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Chicago Hitmen and Bristol Owls get after it.
Erik Dennis pitched a gem to lead Bristol to victory over the Chicago Hitmen, 3-1. Kyle Booker was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 17 save opportunities.
Dennis, now 6-2, scattered 1 hit over 8 innings for the Owls.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Dennis.
The Owls, at 29-35, sit in third place in the Union League East.
