|
Miami rode a decent outing from starter Carson Barrett to victory over the River City Rascals. The final score was 3-2. In 8 innings, Barrett surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Rod Ellis converted his 13th save in 14 tries.
Grant Brennan, who finished 3rd in the UL in triples with 8 in 2061, aided the Miami cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3 with a double.
