De La Cruz, Warewolves Too Much for Wolverines

The San Diego Warewolves defeated the Ann Arbor Wolverines, 7-3, in Syndicate League action at Michigan Stadium. Albert De La Cruz pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. San Diego starter Roger Ganley was credited with the win after throwing 121 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Tyrone Simon converted his 17th save in 18 tries.
