Aquino Shuts Out New York
Juan Aquino led the Montreal Mavericks to a 4-0 shutout victory over the New York Enforcers at Enforcers Field today.

"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Aquino recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."

Aquino yielded 7 hits and had 3 strikeouts and 4 walks in the standout performance.

"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," New York manager Chris Gattuso said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."

This season Aquino has 5 wins and 5 losses and a 5.27 ERA.
