Adkins Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Ann Arbor in Walk-Off Win
|
Noah Spears was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Ann Arbor and Toronto. The Wolverines right-hander helped his team beat the Rush, 1-0. With the win, Ann Arbor upped its record to 19-17.
Gene Adkins won the game with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the tenth. In the contest, the Ann Arbor left fielder was 1 for 4 with a double.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Ann Arbor manager Troy Vogel.
