AC Kansas City Score Late to Upend Sharks, 4-1
|
The AC Kansas City and Miami Sharks completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Getting a good performance from shortstop Kane Foster, the AC Kansas City defeated the Miami Sharks, 4-1. Foster went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the AC Kansas City. Matthew Olson, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 3-1.
Foster had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch slider from Frank Nipper, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the AC Kansas City a 4-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Foster.
