A 5-RBI performance from Carson Reese, who is a four-time Daryl Ryles Slugger Of The Year MVP Award winner, helped the Calgary Clippers beat the Sacramento Giants, 17-2. Jonathan Ashley was credited with the save for Calgary, his 1st of the season. Calgary, now 13-8, has played well in the early going.

Martin Gayle contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped Calgary get the win.
