Roadrunners Top Rascals, 3-2

The Texas Roadrunners racked up a win at Battlefield Park, bumping off the River City Rascals, 3-2. Julian Escobar, who started for Texas, pitched effectively for his team. The save went to Cesar Lopez, his 1st this season. The Roadrunners, now 14-6, have hit the ground running this season.
Texas used a timely hit from Tynan Yates to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Roadrunners ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
In postgame remarks, Yates simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
