Rascals Montgomery Stops Hitmen
Today was Boddie Montgomery's turn in the rotation for the River City Rascals and he made the most of it, shutting out the Chicago Hitmen on 1 hit.

The 36-year-old right-hander led the Rascals to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Chicago manager Zachary Smejkal said. "Montgomery certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

So far this season Montgomery has a 13-10 record with a 2.72 ERA.
