The inspired effort of Cleveland third baseman Derek Large was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-7, to the Toronto Rush. Large hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Connor McPharland earned his 34th save in 39 tries. With the win over Cleveland, the Rush improved to 79-83.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out, Ruben Guzman hit a 1-2 fastball from Jake Collier for a run-scoring triple. It put Toronto in front, 6-5.

In postgame remarks, Guzman simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
