It wasn't easy but Johnathan Hilton made it look that way.

Hilton silenced the Indianapolis Rams, 9-0, in a River City Rascals triumph at Cobb Field today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Hilton said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 4 walks and 7 hits.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."

This season Hilton has worked 217.1 innings with 127 strikeouts en route to a 14-9 record and a 4.27 ERA.
