Morin went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 5. The winner was Jeff Nix in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Manuel Morin took the loss. The Union League East-leading Sharks have a record of 87-54.

Colin Conway was the walk-off hero for Miami. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sharks left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Conway said his team "played with focus."
