The River City Rascals weathered a fine game by Hawaii left fielder Christopher Edwards to upend the Pineapples, 8-5, at E Komo Mai Field. Edwards went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. River City pitcher Juan Aquino got the win. He's now 8-8. Matthew Harris was tagged with the loss. River City is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Nick Cochran dealt the Pineapples a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and River City trailing 4-2, Cochran, who finished 3rd in the SL in RBI with 132 in 2062, hit a 1-2 fastball for a 3-run home run.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Cochran.
