A good performance from catcher Michael Sharp helped the Calgary Clippers defeat the Boston Patriots, 6-3. Sharp went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Clippers. Manny Nunez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 26 of 29 save opportunities. Calgary is now 56-62, Boston 57-61.

Sharp contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Calgary in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Sharp took a changeup from Andre Moore and stroked the home run to left. His 13th home run of the season allowed the Clippers to leap in front, 3-1.

Sharp called the win "a collective effort."
