Gryka Helps Indianapolis Cruise to 16-2 Win
The Indianapolis Rams used an offensive barrage to beat the Knoxville Lumberkings, 16-2, at Jack Daniels Field. Aaron Gryka led the way, going 3-for-4 for Indianapolis. Ken Williams picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 2-1. The win gives Indianapolis a record of 7-6.

With Indianapolis leading 5-0 in the top of the fifth, Gryka came up to bat against Knoxville pitcher Monte Arnold. Gryka hit a cutter to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Rams on top, 8-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Gryka told the Indianapolis Herald. "It's as simple as that."
